I've seen this too. Ridiculously sad. ALA is a resource that obviously a huge number of people know about, but *if* the survey was taken primarily by people who are familiar with it, then the results are definitely less than representative of most people in this profession. That said, it's hard to imagine 32,000 people all learned about the survey directly from ALA.
