Yes. Yojimbo uses it as well though it doesn't use it for searching or it would be much faster. DevonThink uses a proprietary db - not SQLite or OpenBase (you'd see the big ass process running for OpenBase because the SOHO Office products use it) - rather, it uses a db for indexing but all of the files are written out in raw form within its db.
