The Indiana University School of Informatics seeks to fill a tenure-

will join the Informatics HCI group with its nationally recognized HCI/
d Master’s program and Ph.D. program.

We are looking for an excellent educator and researcher who can
contribute to one of the top HCI programs in the nation and with
expertise that complements our existing strengths. The successful
applicant must be able to teach fundamental HCI courses at the
undergraduate and graduate levels. She or he must also empathize with
the strong design profile that has made our program unique and
successful.

twelve Ph.D. students. The HCI group has a strong sense of community
and involves all students in collaborative research and design
projects that are supervised by members of the faculty. The HCI group
also works closely with colleagues in Informatics and with faculty
from other schools and departments on campus.

This search seeks an exceptional faculty member who can further HCI
research and education at the School of Informatics, advancing the
program to the next level of prominence and success. Applicants should

science, or related area. Candidates must demonstrate a scholarly
publication record, a commitment to teaching and mentoring, excellent

collaborative, and interdisciplinary HCI program.

The School of Informatics offers excellent work conditions, including
attractive salaries and research support, low teaching loads, and
world-class computing and library facilities. Located in the rolling,
