Spongecell is looking for a full-time visual/interaction designer to  
join our design team. You will be helping to evolve our event  
promotion platform, Promote, which has been adopted in campaigns for  
Oprah Winfrey, Lucky Jeans, Shakira, and Jamiroquai.

We are a well-funded startup, and have an amazing team spread over  
offices in NYC, Seattle, and San Francisco. This position will be in  
our SF office.

As a member of Spongecell's design team, you will be expected to:
- Iterate on/evolve the visual language of our application and its  
touchpoints
- Solve challenging interaction design problems
- Communicate your designs (through some combination of visual  
documentation and charm)
- Contribute to an evolving design culture and process at Spongecell

REQUIREMENTS - Before you apply, ensure that you:
- Posses interaction design experience.
- Have the visual design skills to produce professional interaction  
design concepts and specifications. You need not be a formally trained  
graphic designer, but you understand the basics of typography, color  
harmony, and compositional balance.
- Understand the benefits and limitations of web-based technologies.  
Why might you choose flash over AJAX?
- Have a BA/BS in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial  
Design, Computer-related Design, HCI, Human Factors, or closely- 
related field
- Bonus points if you have experience prototyping designs with AJAX.
