Jing is nice because it works on multiple platforms, but the workflow in Skitch (OSX-based) is far more streamlined.
I recently wrote a blog post[1] about it to show how we're using it to our process for providing feedback for wireframes and when submitting bug tickets. It doesn't handle video, but for screenshots and such... it's become such a vital addition to my tool belt.
