Hi We're redesigning our corporate intranet and are reviewing technology platforms for CMS, search, intranet and portal applications. My role in this is to evaluate the shortlisted products from a UX perspective since we're working really hard to ensure that the Intranet is user-centred.
Does anyone have a list or criteria that would be useful to score the *potential* UX of various solutions Of course I understand that there's much work to be done between opening the box and launching the system - it's up to us to design and build a usable solution, but I'm looking to avoid potential usability constrains and pitfalls that may be hard wired into particular products. Any horror stories would also be welcome - I'll summarise back if you'd rather contact me off-list. Cheers Rich PS If it's relevant we have 30,000+ users with mainly static content (at the moment) and a current mix of SharePoint, Documentum and Oracle products - but these are up for review. ________________________________________________________________ *Come to IxDA Interaction08 | Savannah* February 8-10, 2008 in Savannah, GA, USA Register today: http://interaction08.ixda.org/ ________________________________________________________________ Welcome to the Interaction Design Association (IxDA)!
