Positive Energy is a well-funded, rapidly growing startup delivering
products designed to make a significant dent in carbon emissions.
We're landing major contracts and working hard to expand a
communication platform for utilities and state governments designed to
target the half of the global warming equation that not enough people
are looking at: efficiency and energy demand. Our approach leverages
innovative technology, direct marketing and behavioral science
expertise, and world-class information and graphic design to change
the way millions of people across the country think about and use
energy.
We're looking for a hyper-talented, energetic interaction designer to
develop the information architecture and user interaction for our
print and web-based products. We take design very seriously, so we're
looking for someone who's passionate about using information and
graphic design to influence customer behavior and effect social
change. This is a great opportunity for someone with exceptional
design sense and a few years of interactive design experience to grow
quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
About You
• 3+ years experience with user interaction, particularly online and/
or software
• Passionate about creating great user experiences through user-
centered design
• Experienced in designing complex, transactional applications
• Lots of experience making wire frames and functional prototypes
• Lots of experience developing use case scenarios and interaction
models
• Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive
Psychology, or a related field
