Hi, I would just like to point out this great article
Interaction Design and ID: You're already doing it...don't you want to know what it's all about? By David Malouf http://www.core77.com/reactor/02.08_ixd.asp [via experientia.com] It's good to see more IxD geared toward products, artefacts and services. It's very welcome, especially after the conference. One of my only low point regarding Interaction'08 was the lack of product- focused interaction projects (at least the proportion was very low compared to web stuff). I feel that interaction design is not only web and software, and David's text is very comforting for me. By the way, it would have been nice to have a Microsoft's Surface table at the conference, considering they were Plantinum sponsor. Or some other tangible demos, units and prototypes. I hope to see more next year. It's fun to play and fiddle with real stuff :-) Sincere thanks to everyone who were involved in Interaction'08. It was a lovely event with tons of great speakers and participants. /Camille -- Camille Moussette PhD student Umea Institute of Design Umea University, Sweden email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mobile: +46 (0)73 0330980 ________________________________________________________________ Welcome to the Interaction Design Association (IxDA)!
