Hey junior designers - Are you an interaction design/UI design college student looking for an internship this summer? Do you have passion around designing things to help people better manage their health? If so, we may have a great summer opportunity for you.
Our group, Digital Health (a part of Intel Corp), is diving head first into the health care market. You will be working with a team of social scientists, software and hardware engineers. You will assist with trials, concept feedback studies and brainstorming sessions to develop a portfolio of health intervention concepts, from mobile applications for people with chronic disease to games for motivating exercise and physical and mental fitness. Here are some of the skills we'd like you to have, the more the better: - Demonstrated interaction design experience on complex user interface projects - Ability to generate highly creative graphic designs and solutions to user interaction issues - Demonstrated proficiency in Photoshop and other graphic design applications - Ability to create detailed user interface specifications - Highly self motivated - Ability to prioritize and focus on critical tasks - Ability to be independent and able to take direction and input very well - Excellent user interface design skills - Proven to be creative problem solvers - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Strong presentation skills - Proficiency in flash programming and/or experience in design for health related applications would be an added advantage *If you are interested, send me an email off list.* Good luck!
