Hi all,

Perhaps some of you who work on e-commerce sites have some information
regarding the effectiveness of quickbuy windows? I recently heard that
quickbuy is actually not that effective for getting people to purchase, but is
more useful for providing additional information about a product.

What I mean by quickbuy is the layover window that appears when you click or
rollover a product thumbnail. It allows you to purchase from that window
without having to click to the product detail page. An example can be seen on
gap.com:

Does anyone have any stats or info on this?

Thanks,
Jason
