I'm not a User Experience person (I'm a web app developer) but storytelling plays a big role in an emerging software development methodology named "Behaviour-Driven Development". For example, developing web apps using Ruby on Rails, we use a framework named RSpec that programmatically transforms a plain-text story (written using a specific template) into specifications and an automated test suite. It's a big bold new direction in the Ruby on Rails community and seems to have a lot of utility. I'm curious if any Interaction Design people have been working with developers using "Behaviour-Driven Development" techniques? Here's more info about how stories are used in Behaviour-Driven Development: http://dannorth.net/whats-in-a-story And RSpec: http://rspec.info/ ________________________________________________________________ Welcome to the Interaction Design Association (IxDA)!
