[apologies for cross-posting]

Has anyone implemented or done research on site-based save functions? This
can be anything where the user saves website information away to a
consolidated area tied to her account, like a wish list or a saved article
binder.

I'd be especially interested in quantitative research about usage levels,
best practices for design, and thinking around the kinds of things that
are most appropriate to have save functions associated with them. Any
help would be greatly appreciated -- thanks so much.
