User Experience Designer Seattle, WA
Tyler Technologies (www.tylertech.com) We are looking for a great User Experience Designer to help make our business applications more powerful, simple, and compelling while ensuring a best-in-industry user experience. Responsibilities -Help define the vision for the user experience for our products. -Collaborate with co-workers (such as user researchers, program managers, product planners, user assistance, and developers) to understand our partners and customer's needs and propose design solutions to meet those needs. -Design and develop product prototypes in order to communicate product interaction designs to other team members. -Produce detailed interaction design specifications for the product development team. -Special projects as assigned. The candidate we are looking for will have: -BA/BS degree in Industrial Design, Interface Design, Interaction Design or equivalent. -Four or more years of experience with designing the user interface for applications for Microsoft Windows. -Extensive experience with user interface prototyping in HTML, Flash, Director, PhotoShop, or similar tools. -The ability to define and drive interaction experience design that is compelling, efficient, effective, satisfying, and innovative. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Demonstrated ability to work confidently and effectively with diverse teams (e.g., Program Management, SW Development, Product Planning, User Assistance and User Research). -A design portfolio available for viewing. A candidate is further qualified with: -Experience in the ERP/Business Solutions. Travel required.
