I'm afraid I'm the worst person to ask about today's programs. I can think of a few highly regarded ones. Carnegie Mellon is probably the best, and very design oriented. UC Berkely has the SILS program, which has a CS history but is good at design process. UC San Diego has a program that is more Psychology-based.
Here is a list of IA programs, but most of these are oriented to information more than to design. http://www.iainstitute.org/en/learn/education/schools_teaching_ia.php Besides that, You might want to look around on other sites, or wait for someone more knowledgeable to chime in.
