This topic has been explored many times from a web design POV, but rarely
from an IxD one. When would you use each of the options? Fixed width seems
to have become the de-facto choice in content based websites, and variable
width in online tools. A great compromise is the combo method where its
fixed above and/or below a certain resolution/ window size and variable
inbetween. Thoughts?
