I would also suggest WordPress as my preferred choice; although
depending on the version you use, there are some usability bloopers
that I found quite annoying in the past. For instance, if you use
their on-line publishing interface, in some version, the highlighted
button is the "save" button, even though the most relevant action
when you've finished blogging is usually to "publish" the post
(see here). It leads to the annoying process of always wondering what
happened to your post and figure out that it was actually saved as
draft. Just an anecdote :)
