Matthew and David, I graduated from the University of Maryland program at College Park as a Psychology student. I did research with Ben Shneiderman and was part of the human-computer interaction lab even though I was not a computer science student. The lab is composed of people studying different fields. I didn't take all of the heavy theory computer science courses. Instead I took many of the courses related to Cognitive Science and Statistical analysis.
