A List Apart has there new survey out. I heard about it from @brownorama in
the twitterverse, and quickly jumped over to their sanctimoniously
standards-compliant website all beige and uber-hip.

The landing page http://alistapart.com/articles/survey2008 ceremonious
declares: "The responses to last year's survey began teaching the world
about the previously invisible profession powering its information economy.
The responses also taught us what we did wrong in constructing the survey."

And yet, under job titles, they fail to mention interaction design. This
kind of professional classism cannot be tolerated. We can't be forced to the
back of the bus - we must demand a seat at the table.

Take the survey, and under job title, choose "Other" and write in
Interaction Designer. We need to send a clear message to the high priests of
web design that the little people won't be left out in the cold, fed scraps
and chained to the dog house anymore. We must rise up and demand justice!
