Hello IXDA, My company and I found out about your community through a good friend of mine who teaches usability for a living. My name is Steven, and I'm the technology lead at an internet start up located in Beverly Hills, CA. We are developing a cross-platform desktop application with Adobe AIR, and we're currently looking for an expert interaction designer. I'm told this is a great place to find one!
We understand the importance of great usability and design and would like to find a knowledgeable expert to help us achieve that with our application. Our company has a respected Information Architect, and we are currently searching for an accomplished and experienced designer who specializes in user interface and interaction. This person would be an integral part of our team who could take us from detailed wireframes and functional specifications to a well-thought out design - and really nail the user experience. This is a short-term contract position (with potential for long term), and telecommuting is fine. Our company will provide competitive compensation.
