Johan Sjöstrand and Jeff Howard have some good points. "Do we really need the back button?" A multi page form should have a (clickable) index indicating the various steps in the form, and a next button to go to the next page. --
The next and previous buttons do not behave as "action buttons", but as navigation buttons, and it therefor is more natural to go to the next page by clicking on the right-hand side.
