IxDA NYC packed in nearly 200 people at R/GA's sparkling new conference
center last night to hear Dan Saffer of Kicker Studio expound on "Tap is the
New Click". Deepest appreciation goes to our excellent speaker as well as
the dedicated team of people at host R/GA who were instrumental in this
event going off so seamlessly -- particularly Chloe Gottlieb and Courtney
Buckle. The event was streamed live, which also drew a large audience, and
the Twitter stream was intense.

The community response to this event was unprecedented in IxDA NYC's history
-- over 450 people sent in RSVPs -- and we extend our apologies to any
attendees who did not get in due to space constraints.

R/GA has generously offered to make a fully-edited video available in the
next 7-10 days and we'll publish source details widely as soon as we have
them.

Dan's slides can be seen here:

Our next event is the Second Annual Interaction Design Studio -- a hands-on
workshop led by experts Liya Zheng and Jeanine Harriman of Liquidnet -- on
Thursday evening, October 16, at Roundarch. Details and registration coming
soon!
