Hi Brett Thanks for the example. Now I can see why it works. Previously, I thought you were talking about a 'Previous' button given the same visual treatment and prominence as your 'Next' button. Now I see that you have a 'Next' button placed just where I've found that it works best, i.e. placed vertically below the left-hand end of the fields. Then you have a small 'Previous' link that happens to be placed to the right of the 'Next' button. Users won't see it unless their task has changed and they go looking for it. Personally, I'd suggest putting the 'Previous' link on the left of the page but it's a minor point and I wouldn't stress over it.
