following positions:
Vice-President, Product Development
* Position will actively participate in defining the Company's
product vision and strategy, reporting directly to the CEO.
* Supervise, coordinate, mentor, and motivate the product
development organization.
* Manage platform development process from conception to implementation.
* Guide development process, including working closely with
in-office and remote development teams.
* Experience with proven, dynamic, and heavily-trafficked Internet
properties a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to manage, analyze, design, test, and
implement consumer web applications.
* Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines imposed
by rapid business growth.
* The ideal candidate will be a creative leader with strong
project-management skills and written/verbal communication skills.
Senior Software Engineers
* Expert in some of the following: JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, AJAX,
Ruby on Rails, Web Service APIs.
* Must have a strong understanding of object oriented programming
and relational data modeling.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience at a consumer web company a plus.
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
* The ideal candidate will be a bright and creative team player.
Must be a self starter has a genuine desire for excellence.
Marketing & PR Manager (Coolspotters.com)
* Position will help drive awareness of Coolspotters to the outside
world, as well as play a central communications role with our growing
user community.
* Responsibilities include helping with ad campaigns, press, viral
marketing, community outreach, and managing our company blog.
* Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines imposed
by rapid business growth.
* Experience at a consumer web company a plus.
* The ideal candidate will be a someone enthusiastic and creative
who loves fashion and/or celebrity content.
