Amit, I understand what you're asking and find it interesting to look at different countries and cultures in regard to their approach to design and IxD UXD. However I think it's really easy to draw generalizations in this discussion that are possibly as far from the truth as a couple individual examples randomly picked from around the world.
That said, here are my thoughts on this: Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands - good for industrial design, interface design, mobile, design innovation, aesthetic design USA - good for robust web design that can sometimes get a little too rudimentary, boxes and arrows type of thing (IMHO) Japan, Korea - good for mobile design, design innovation Germany - good for industrial design, interface design India - coming up fast in interface design, industrial design Those are just my own, subjective opinions. --- Karri Ojanen http://www.conceptology.org . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
