"Doing More With Less: Sharing Tales of Guerilla IxD" We're getting an enthusiastic response to this open, community-based discussion focused on the art of doing good interaction design during challenging times, to be moderated by IxDA Board President Joshua Seiden.
Have you registered to attend? http://tinyurl.com/IxDAJan09 The event is free of charge and open to all interested parties. However, for security reasons, only those on the guest list will be admitted. Please bring photo ID. NEW PARTNER: AQUENT We're delighted to announce that Aquent is partnering with IxDA and will be providing refreshments for the evening, so our community won't have to "do more with less" (at least in terms of sustenance) in these lean economic times. IxDA local events are very much about connecting the interaction design community face-to-face; we're pleased to welcome Aquent to the conversation. Aquent is the world's leading design and marketing staffing agency. We match professionals with freelance, contract, try-before-you-hire, and full-time job opportunities at top organizations. Aquent has 72 offices in 17 countries with over 13,500 professionals working at more than 3,000 companies. We work with some of the top advertising and interactive agencies as well as two-thirds of the Fortune 500 and 90 of the Fortune 100. Throughout our history we've made over half a million matches between our clients and talent. Aquent is privately held and headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts and our New York office is located on 5th Avenue between 21st and 22nd Streets. YES!
