In late 2007, we got tired of all the conferences focusing on mobile user experience being in Europe. Usually London. Since more and more there's really great mobile design work going on in North America, we decided to make a new conference. And in 2008 it was terrific.
The 2009 conference is approaching, with topics ranging from academic to theoretical to incredibly practical, from user research to implementation. We'll have a workshop on gestures for mobile phones and a workshop on designing & documenting mobile interaction.
