I would take this question in a different direction...would you only use this space for "UT", or could it also become a hub for ideation, collaborative design, testing and evaluating equipment or software, etc.? That's what we've done with our space; over the course of a month, we might run tests 10% of the time, but otherwise this room is our design lab, with loads of whiteboards, paper and pens, sticky notes, our only Mac (don't laugh, it was hard to get even that!), and all of the various software that we evaluate or have only one copy of. We're also looking to add additional testing capabilities, including eye-tracking (I know many disdain eye-tracking, but that's a subject for a different post). The key here is to make the most use of the facilities you have; this serves you and your organization well. Dante
