Thanks for all the examples contributed here! Can anyone see any downsides fading out the controls of your content?
While it is a nice transition which supports a rapidly shifting context (control content to consume content) - what we lose is glancability of controls. That is, if the set of controls/actions associated with content is sufficiently complex, the user may forget what is available while busy consuming content. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
