Hi Eric Is there a particular reason why you need to double check that the user has entered their email address correctly? I'm sure you're aware that when registering on most well known sites, the user is not required to type their email address twice - this is reserved only for passwords.
I'd remove the "email confirmation" field unless you have a really solid reason for needing it...
