Hi all,

This is for whoever is interested. Just had a small session with some kids
for a library project here in Sweden, and here are the results:

- recommended)

My reflections on the process:
- 'School mode'
the children came straight from school, brought by their teacher. They were
in 'school mode', and much more willing to answer questions (boring!) than
kids contacted in their free time (which was a totally different
experience). If you want kids to behave, find them in school!
- Language
I was speaking (mostly) in English, they were mainly Swedish speakers. We
had someone to translate, and someone else to take notes.
However, a few of them could speak English very well, and spoke to me in
English. All fine, except it made the others think they should be speaking
in English too. And since they couldn't speak English well, they were
reluctant to speak at all. We had to insist that Swedish is perfectly fine
for us, and I even spoke in Swedish a few times (I'm just learning) to
convey the message.
- food helped (thanks again Maggie Reilly)
- starting the session with 'what do you do to have fun' worked well.

Hope this helps someone.
Sebi
