I'm writing to update the group on the status of the IxDA Mentorship Initiative. The team has put together a preliminary document, which you can download here: http://www.ixda.org/download/ixda_mentorship_01.pdf - this document explores some "best practices", and then proposes two short term Mentorship systems. At this point, we need 3 things from the larger IxDA group: 1. Feedback on the two short-term proposals included in the document 2. Volunteers to participate in implementing the two-term proposals 3. Volunteers to begin exploring a longer term Mentorship system Please let me know if you would like to get involved; please, if you offer to get involved, BE PREPARED TO *BE* INVOLVED and spend some time on this important activity. A solid mentorship platform can do wonders for both the people involved and also for our profession at large. Thanks, and thanks to the existing Mentorship team for their hard work.
