Thanks Liz for putting this together!

For #5, I feel the question is very black and white, and the answers not a lot of room for possibility.

I think context matters. And I think member moderated is great for this ala the Youtube model - one person might not get context, but if majority do than all is well. And same for vice versa. This is how we define and try morality in our society too - your peers around you in your county. Same idea.

Secondly I think there is more room there for consequences than the answers given.
I think it should be dependent on context.

How To
So, for example: Let's I say something that on a obscene language context scale of 1-10. 1 being 'Fuck this pollen in the air making me sneeze' and 10 being something truly intentionally trollish, flaming, denegrading, downright mean.

If it's 1-3, no consequences. (perhaps repeated 3's by the same person would get a 'Hey pottymouth, chill a bit, eh?' from the membership.
If it's 4-7, a request from memberhship to, ya know, tone it down a bit.
If it's 8-9 stern warning, will be removed from membership if ever say anything like that again.
If it's 10 - gone, barred, no questions asked.

Thanks for your attention! We're happy to solicit member opinions in this thread, as well, if there's anything people would like to add outside the survey bounds.

Liz
