Hi, IXDA Community, I think that most of you would be way outside our budget
for web work but you might know of a budding star looking to develop their
portfolio. Below is a bit about us, the project and the requirements.
Basically, we are a micro company with a limited budget -- yet seeking a
brilliant, truly innovative website.
-----------------
Interaction Metrics, a customer experience measurement and improvement company
seeks a highly intelligent, creative talent to overhaul its website. We've
written the creative brief plus the first draft of the copy. You will need to
provide all design elements for 11 web pages plus a few forms and other pieces.
If you can do the back-end programming that's good but if your specialty is
design, we have a have a contractor who can provide coding, HTML, etc. While
you don't have to do the programming you MUST be able to design something that
is achievable.

Interested candidates should send an email letter explaining their interest in
this contract with information about fees, availability, etc. Please include
URLS that link to your work and explain which pieces of these sites you were
responsible for. In addition, attach a URL to a site that you did NOT work on
but wish you had as you feel this site demonstrates a brilliant design solution.

You would do the work outside of our offices on a structured timeline. If you
have other skills such as blog, or web publicity skills, please include
information about this in your letter.

Requirements:
+ Ability to comprehend a lengthy brief. Ask good probing questions and
synthesize the information.
+ Ability to create an innovative, interactive design.
+ Ability to present first draft wireframes, storyboards, flowcharts, etc.
+ Completed (or enrolled in) a Bachelor's or Master's degree program.

+ B2B design experience.
+ Excellent communication skills, extra points if you have some facility with
copy writing.

+ Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and any programs essential for
completing this assignment as well as the appropriate licenses and hardware to
do the job.
We look forward to hearing from you, looking at your work and finding out what
makes you tick! Our selection will be made promptly.
