work in its San Francisco, CA office.

SENIOR USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

Job Responsibilities:

• Interact with the customers, product managers and in-house
stakeholders to conduct Design Research (contextual inquiry,
interviews, exploratory sketching, card sorting, etc) and effectively
translate it into actionable design artifacts

• Provide interaction design concepts for complex UI-intensive
applications: analysis of workflow, creation of Lo/Hi-Fi wireframes
and functional prototypes

• Assist other UX designers in creating compelling, effective and
attractive visual design for both content-driven web sites and
applications

• Translate mockups into HTML templates or pair with programmers to
integrate design into other mediums

• Manage workflow and deliverables for the UX design team

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience of in-depth user experience design

• 2+ years experience managing design teams

• Degree in industrial design, graphic design, interactive design,
computer science, digital arts, or related discipline

• Solid understanding of several User Experience disciplines (IA,
IxD, Research, Strategy, Visual Design)

• Highly creative individual with diverse rich skill-set and
interests

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent visual design skills (typography, aesthetics, layout,
color, etc).  Comfortable with graphic design tools such as
Fireworks, Photoshop and/or Illustrator

• Understanding of HTML/CSS and javascript is a must (although
implementation will not be a core responsibility)

• Experience in Agile environments a big plus, willing to work in an
Agile fashion a must

• Excellent communication and presentation skills



USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Managers, clients and developers to
provide design work in an iterative approach based on business
priorities

• Provide interaction design concepts for complex UI-intensive
applications: analysis of workflow, creation of Lo/Hi-Fi wireframes
and functional prototypes

• Create compelling, effective and attractive visual design for both
content-driven web sites and applications

• Translate mockups into HTML templates or pair with programmers to
integrate design into other mediums

• Reports to Senior User Experience Designer

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience of in-depth user experience design

• Degree in industrial design, graphic design, interaction design,
digital arts, or related discipline

• Solid understanding of several User Experience disciplines (IA,
IxD, Research, Strategy, Visual Design) with experience in at least
one of those disciplines

• Highly creative individual with diverse rich skill-set and
interests

• Strong Attention to detail

• Excellent visual design skills (typography, aesthetics, layout,
color, etc).  Comfortable with graphic design tools such as
Fireworks, Photoshop and/or Illustrator

• Ability to hand-code cross-browser compatible and valid HTML/CSS. 
Knowledge of any javascript framework is a plus

• Experience in Agile environments a big plus, willing to work in an
Agile fashion a must

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
