Position: User Experience Designer / Information Architect Location: New York, NY Part Time/Freelance Position
Opportunity: NabeWise is an innovative, user-generated, digital media start-up with a totally original take on the hyperlocal space. We have several high-profile advisors from the real estate and travel industries and we are currently working to launch a beta site, and facebook app all of which are going to be awesome. We are looking for one or more web designers to help us finalize the initial user experience and design of our website that will be handed off to a team of developers. We have a partially working web prototype and an initial design as a jumping off point. We expect that this will be 40 hours of work or so. Desired Skills: - 3+ years experience working as an information architect, interaction designer, or user experience designer -ability to think creatively and âout of the boxâ in order to determine better ways we could be presenting and organizing our content (you will not just be a wireframe monkey) - experience working on complex, dynamic sites - experience working on social media sites is a plus We are looking for this kind of person: · No ego issues âwe are all smart and accomplished.
