POSITION SUMMARY RIM is seeking Interaction Designers to contribute to defining the next generation of mobile devices and handheld applications. This is a contract position (with the potential for a full time position). The User Experience organization is a multi-disciplinary team and strong communication and collaboration skill are essential, as you will be working closely with researchers, other UX designers, product management and development teams. RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate's responsibilities will include exploring, evaluating and specifying the user experience for the BlackBerry applications and services through user scenarios, task flows, storyboards and UX specifications. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS - A strong understanding of the user-centered design process - 3 to 5 years of recent industry experience creating engaging visual content and design interactions with a meticulous focus on simplicity and elegance. - A graduate or post-graduate degree in a product design related field such as; Interaction or Interface Design, Interactive Media, HCI, Graphic or Industrial Design, or the equivalent experience and training in an area directly relevant to this position, is required If you're driven to take wireless technologies to the next level, it's time you join the team at RIM.
