Interface Developer £DOE

The Interface Developer is responsible for producing high quality
solutions to client projects. With responsibility for producing work
to code standards and is expected to return solutions to meet client
specification and budget.

The Interface Developer works at a middle level and needs to be self
motivating to meet project challenges and have a proactive outlook to
be able to adjust to a varying workload. This role requires the
Interface Developer to take the lead on client-side issues such as
accessibility and usability. The role invites assistance to the Head
of Technology in the development of working practices and technology
plan.

Expected Experience
The types of experience expected for this role would include:
o       2+ years working in a front end development capacity
o       Multi channel experience
o       Delivery of projects within a team – hands on coding essential
o       Knowledge of content management systems an advantage
o       Strong client-side coding essential taking into account usability
and accessibility standards
o       Experience of delivering to industry expected standards
o       Relevant coding experience, preferably with suitable
qualifications
o       Creates well designed, clean code
o       Understands browser specific compatibility issues
o       Enthusiasm for Internet technologies

Key Skills:
o       XHTML / CSS
o       Photoshop / Illustrator
o       Flash
o       Developing Use Cases, Flows, Wireframes, Sitemaps and other UX/IA
deliverables
o       Breadth of knowledge in digital design

Targets and Role Performance Indicators
The role will be accessed via:
o       Delivery of projects on time and budget
o       Quality assurance
o       Client satisfaction
o       Resource Utilisation
o       An active involvement within the technology team
