The IxDA has a new local group, IxDA Northern NJ, which meets approximately once a month in Madison, NJ. Our goal is to facilitate networking and professional development for user experience professionals in northern New Jersey.
For our September 30th event, we're planning a discussion about Web 3.0 buzzwords and the real phenomena that they refer to. Our facilitator, Yana Kane-Esrig, is a business analyst in the Application Software Group at Alcatel-Lucent. She has more than ten years experience tracking the online world and reporting on its implications. ABSTRACT As the online world evolves, user behaviors, business models and technical capabilities that used to be fringe phenomena are moving to the forefront of the online world and are interacting with each other. We can discuss these phenomena and how they may affect both the user experience and the business potential of the online world.
