I'm starting to gather a list of sites that excel in video user
experience.

I'm not just looking for sites where the offering IS video (i.g.
hulu, YouTube), but rather sites where the content is presented AS
video (instead of, or in addition to, text and images).

My search includes interface, functionality (playlist creation,
closed captions, etc ) and overall UX. The topic and content of the
site isn't really important.

The CNN app is a great example - while video is the hero content
element, they also provide 2 summary bullet points as well as a text
based article. (Note: I'm more interested in websites, but great
video apps are welcome too.)

I'm not finding a lot of research and examples on usability and UX
for video.

I realize this is similar to a posting in August ("Examples of crazy
video player interfaces"), however, I am less interested in the
interface and more interested in the user experience and
functionality.

Here's an example of a neat gallery and thumbnail navigation:

Feel free to reply to me personally. I will post all the suggestions
in a few days (assuming I get some;-)

As always, many thanks!
