I have the pro version and still don't know where to grab the hex values.

Thanks for the tip.  I'm doing what I think you're suggesting, with the 
built-in DigitalColor Meter utility on my macbook.  I simply hover the color to 
see its values.  Still, this is clunky.

I might need to jump back to Illustrator for my wireframes... even though I 
love the Konigi wireframe stencils for 'graffle.  :)
