FILTER has a contract opportunity with an exciting interactive agency
in Seattle for a User Experience Architect. We’re looking for someone
with a stellar portfolio of work and a strong professional background
in interactive design, UX design or information architecture.
 
The User Experience Architect will guide the team through
user-centered design activities. While the day-to-day will vary,
common project deliverables may include: personas, user-case
scenarios, content inventory, workflow diagrams, phasing plans, site
maps, wireframes, digital prototypes, functional specifications and
information design recommendations.

This is a unique opportunity to participate in exciting work in a fun
setting. If you have a portfolio chock full of examples from all areas
of interaction design—including user flows, wireframes and final
graphical display—plus you’re an adept leader who is highly
organized, we’d love to hear from you.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Collaborating with the account director, PM, analytics lead and
others to establish project goals and success metrics

• Research and propose user-centered design framework for project
discovery and planning phase

• Propose scope, budget, and phased timeline for IA work

• Collaborate with Usability Analyst to recommend user research and
evaluations to be conducted

• Research and propose information architecture strategy for the web
channel

• Work with the  client and team to define basic segmentation of
audience types, customer lifecycle & needs for web

• Assist UA and QA Lead with test plans

• Responsible for info architecture of key customer paths

• Create, present, and maintain all information architecture
deliverables, user scenarios, task flow diagrams, sitemap/navigation
scheme/taxonomy, wireframes, interaction outline/spec, copy
direction

• Be an active member/lead the pitch team

SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

• Professional experience as an interactive designer, user experience
designer, information architect, or interactive architect 

• Portfolio of work required, including examples of all areas of
interaction design (user flows, wireframes, final graphical display)

• Highly organized, strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and
written communication skills

• MS Preferred, BA/BS required or years of professional experience in
Human Factors, Psychology, Design, user interface design, or related
field

• Professional experience leading a project team
