Tribunes User Experience (UX) Team is seeking a highly talented senior level user experience professional, who possesses an extreme passion for usability, great visual design, a superb aesthetic sense, and an exceptional eye for detail.

Responsibilities: Work closely with product managers and business owners to plan, direct, and implement the user interface design, aesthetic direction, and usability efforts for next generation web & mobile products. Think and work like an IA/Interaction Designer to make sure that the end product is not just aesthetically beautiful but also functionally usable. With the goal of creating intuitively usable products, drive user interface designs from concept through prototypes to implementation and develop high level, and/or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate designs. Work with other user experience professionals in the group providing a positive influence to the creative direction of the group. Design user interfaces that are engaging, follow usability best practices, and reinforce a visual brand across a product. Contribute to a culture of innovation and teamwork with measurable positive results. Champion user-centered design and conceive, set, and implement user interface guidelines and standards. Implement usability processes and methodologies, evaluate designs, conduct usability tests, provide feedback to project teams and propose solutions. Work with other user experience professionals to create, maintain and build an interaction design pattern library required to expedite prototyping efforts and user experience maturity. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: At least 5 to 7 years of experience creating professional, visually stunning design with a focus on creating rich, high-volume websites and web applications. Experience in social media & e-commerce is a plus. Bachelors degree or higher degree in Graphic/Visual Design, UxD, HCI, or significant professional experience in a related field. Experience in creating concept sketches, storyboards, wire framing, prototyping, and design specs using tools like Omnigraffle, Flash Catalyst or Balsamiq Mockups. Strong experience using Photoshop & Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite products. Clear understanding of the difference between designing for the web and print. Sensitivity to all elements of user experience. Good sketching and illustration skills to create logos & brand definition are a plus. HTML/CSS/Javascript/Flash/Actionscript experience not required, but the right person will at least have understanding of each medium and the inherent limits All interested candidates must submit a portfolio with links to work samples.
