Eh, personally, I think the naming of things is not particularly important. I mean, it's important to have a name, and to have that name associated with what you are, but I think that doesn't have all that much to do with the name itself. I mean, personally, I think SAGE would have been better, if we could have kept it, not because it was a better name, but because it was an older name that was already associated with what we are. But, that ship has sailed, and at this point, I think LOPSA is a better name than something else, just because it has been around for a few years and because we have used it. Proper names acquire meanings by the actions of the people who bear those names, not the other way around, in my opinion.
On the other hand, what would you expect from a guy who calls his company 'prgmr.com'? clearly I have no taste. what is that, anyhow? I remove all the vowls and an extra M and an extra r? since when was 'fits on a motorcycle nameplate' an important consideration when it comes to naming? _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
