Jason,

One thing to keep in mind is that switches usually vent exhaust to the side
and rear. Depending on the amount/size of equipment, this may not be a
concern and depending on budget, it may not be an addressable concern, but
it's something that I've run across in the past.

APC's Netshelter SX line has a Side Airflow Duct kit that could potentially
address that. Chatsworth makes a network cabinet, but that'll probably run
2-3x as much as the APC equivalent.

Depending on the setup and airflow, another option would be a 2-post telco
rack for your network gear and then a 4-post cabinet for your servers. The
2-post gives you more accessibility, but you can't channel your airflow with
the same precision as with a cabinet.

Places like MonoPrice (http://www.monoprice.com) sell both power and
Cat5/5e/6 cables in varying lengths so you can reduce your cable clutter
even with a limited budget.

HTH,

M
