I want (or need) to add windows VM access for mac/linux users, both remote and internal. Also, access to company standard windows systems for users working remotely at their home pc's. Option 1, I could simply create these VM's and provide RDP access to them over the VPN. It's simple and easy, but the GUI over RDP is limited.
I am aware of Pano, which enables VDI support for aero, but I'm not aware of what other alternatives are out there. And I'm not aware of whether the hardware is required, versus users being able to run a soft client on their laptops. Ideal would be a simple drop-in replacement for RDP, which supports full graphics. So... Anybody have any suggestions, or even names of alternatives to consider? Thanks...
