I've got a young sysadmin who's got a year of experience working at Google. He migrated over 350 users between OS X, Windows XP, Windows 7, Ubuntu. Dealing with issues as they arose, creating both procedures and documentation, he even gave moral support to traumatized immigrants (Windows XP to OS X, is not an easy move for anyone!).
He left to focus on school and explore what the world has to offer. He's now ready to rejoin the workforce and get some experience under his belt. Trouble shoots from the hip? Check! Passion for detailed analysis? Check! Great customer service skills? Check! Snappy dresser? Double Check! (He wore a double breasted suit and tie ... every day. At Google. Imagine that. Then smile. We all did.) Does anyone have an opening for this bright young lad? Send me an email off list, I will forward you a resume. *Wishing I was at LISA this year ...* -- Joseph A Kern [email protected]
