Software overtaking hardware is awesome, as Vyatta > Juniper/Cisco in terms of usability. htop, zabbix-agent, etc. Virtualize it. Install from USB after making an ISO with Ubuntu startup disk creator. Debian routers have so many more options while vyatta makes it all 1 config file. And so much cheaper.
