I want the top level elements closest to the center of the circle, and
I want the sub-elements removed from the circle, but I want the graph
to show the relationship between elements and their children.
I'd use GraphViz twopi.
The output will not be exactly as you want, not quite a disk with proportional
area, it'll be a mathematical graph expanding fro inside out with clear
parent-children relationship, but the syntax of the input will be extremely
simple.
