You can accomplish that via multiple ELBs... each ELB can have a separate
certificate/name assigned, then you can leave the back channel unencrypted,
or encrypted with a single IP/certificate.

My memory is light on the details, but for one client I did just that,
hosting 2-3 Apache SSL sites by using multiple ELBs.

There is something like $7/mo per ELB charge.
