I am curious to know, what other discussion groups people participate in. Especially, if they are regional, or platform-centric, or something. What do you all use?
I am in Boston. I use BLU (boston linux unix) BBLISA (back bay large installation system administration) Macenterprise (obviously, mac in the enterprise) openindiana-discuss (obviously, openindiana) SAGE (not really an active list) There is also a Boston Security meetup, serves free pizza & beer. Usually has interesting talks. I've given a talk there on whole disk encryption.
